Debbie Takes It Off

My name is Debbie and I have been a member of Achieve Fitness for almost two years. I enjoy the classes and was coming fairly regular but was not losing any weight or inches. I heard some members talking about the Take It Off program and decided to give it a try . I got nervous because I had tried almost every weight loss program out there and spent many dollars on these programs. I started the “Take it Off” program on October 30th 2007. 

I was pleasantly surprised to find it easy to follow and I didn’t feel hungry or out of sorts as on some other programs. The coaching was great and very supportive, Susan and Patty were great cheerleaders. They were very encouraging and answered all my questions. I came to the gym four or five times a week. I found the protein bars a great help and gave me a little sweet every day so I did not feel I was missing something.

To my surprise the pounds and inches started coming off, I would have really good weeks losing 3-4 pounds and then I would have weeks when I would lose .5-1 pounds but I knew if I stuck to it the pounds would come off. In twelve weeks I lost 33 pounds and 12 inches.

Remember, I started the day before Halloween and got through Christmas and a few family crises and still lost weight. When I think of this I am still shocked. I have more weight to lose but I am confident I will SUCCEED. The support is still available at the Achieve Fitness and I truly feel they are there to help me reach my goal.
